Let's go tonight,

to let the beast run wild...

I am an American artist living

in Leipzig, Germany since 1990. This was the Velvet Revolution time here in East Germany when life was in flux, and paint was 50 cents a tube , and I could squat an entire deserted factory floor as a studio, and the remnants of the DDR and its mentality still existed. The art of those days here was abstract, trying to be modern.

I then, and have always painted jazz art; colorful figures of fantasy and realism, love and music, with a positive flair. I am an underground, secretive artist. Leipzig has influenced my creativity and artworks in a big way. Or maybe the people have influenced me. My goal is to breathe life into an image, if possible, then share it.

I'm usually painting oil on canvas, often with found canvas. Illustrations and writings are

also found, here. The paintings I've shown, have sold almost strictly by word of mouth and some with galleries and internet sales.
